Ab workout…?

I can do something like 300 sit ups, is it better to do sit ups till failure or split them up into sets? and why?

    doing 300 sit ups doesnt work your abs that much, its like doing bench presses with the bar and no weights!

    your better off doing heavy weights and low reps i.e. 3 sets of 8 reps of weighted crunches,

    i do these with a 30kg dumbell, this will really hit your abs and by adding the weight it will build the muscles and increase your core strength.

    give it a try, find the right weight for you, you want it so that the last rep of each set is very difficult
